Most common questions
The EN779 classifications are a standard for ventilation filters. These are intake filters on building, in hospitals and the like. Breather bags are made from a dust filter media, which are tested and specified differently. For this reason we cannot report on an unrelated classification. However, for a rough comparison, then the FM1 is 97% efficient @ 3microns, or F7. If the airflow or pressure is low the efficiency will increase. This then depends on surface area, particle size and type etc.
